Home appliances move through long distributor and retail networks where counterfeit spare parts, refurbished units resold as new, and grey-market diversion erode brand trust and safety. Buyers cannot easily confirm whether a washing machine, oven or refrigerator is genuine, in warranty, or carrying certified components.
