This unit belongs to a batch whose Merkle root is publicly anchored on the Base blockchain: anyone can verify its membership of that batch, independently, at any time. The anchor commits to the unit's identity: its token, its UID fingerprint and its ERC-721 metadata hash. The passport's SHA-256 fingerprint above is published and anyone can recompute it, but it is not part of the Merkle leaf.
The EU ESPR regulation defines tiered access to passport data depending on who is reading it. What you see here depends on your level.
